Cat graduated in 2011 with a master's degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is a professional dancer who graduated from Central School of Ballet, London in 2002.
Catherine has worked with various dance companies such as the Royal Ballet Company, British Youth Opera, Michael Clark & Co, Curve Foundation (UK), CeDeCe Companhía de Danza (Portugal), Focus dance, Triambulo Ikebana (Sweden), BeC, ConCuerpos, Entre Tierra and L'explose in Colombia.
She has taught classical ballet, contemporary dance and body conditioning since 2002, and for the last 9 years was a senior lecturer on the BA Performing Arts degree at the Pontificia Javeriana University, Bogotá where she coordinated the dance area and most recently was director of the course until July 2021.
Since 2008 Cat has dedicated a large part of her work to outreach projects, using dance, movement and theatre to benefit emotional and cognitive development with diverse and vulnerable communities. She is motivated by learning from her students and colleagues about the vast diversity of the human body.
