Meet our Family
We pride ourselves in the fact that our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their fields.
All of our teachers are specialists in their subjects having spent many years training as dancers before qualifying in their teacher training.
We feel it is important that every student in the school receives the very best training, from the tiniest ballerina to our most senior student, regardless of whether they wish to pursue a career in dance or have a fun hobby.
Our Teachers
Every member of our teaching team has many years of experience in their field and is passionate about what they do.
Each one brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our school.
Lucinda is our Tap & Modern teacher. She also choreographs dances for festivals and shows and enters our students for ISTD exams
Former student Charlie is an expert in the field of Sports and Exercise Science. She takes our limbering and conditioning classes.
Jill is the founder of the school and teaches ballet for our Academy Scholars. She also choreographs many festival and competition dances.
Our Guest Teachers
Our guest teachers are industry professionals. They teach master classes and choreograph dances for students.
Our Admin Team
Our admin team work behind the scenes and over-see the general day-to-day working of the school. From answering emails to organising large scale events they ensure everything runs smoothly.
Our Head Student Team
Our Head Student Team bridge the gap between students and teachers. They are the voice of the student body; dedicated, supportive and committed, often found helping students and teachers at festivals, exam sessions and behind the scenes.
Ava is one of our deputy head students. Allied has been like a family for her for over 12 years and she enjoys the opportunity to dance a wide range of styles.
Lucy is the Head of our Student Team. She co-ordinates everyone to make sure there is a representative at every event.
Our Student Teachers
Our Student teacher programme gives our older students an opportunity to work with the younger members of the school and learn skills such as teaching techniques, communication and pastoral care. They also work alongside the staff at exams, competitions and shows, supporting the whole student body in their performances. Our student teachers help create a strong bond between the older and younger ends of the school.
