Tap Uniform

Grade 1 - 2 Tap:

ALL STUDENTS

Any black cotton lycra leotard

Black cotton lycra bootleg jazz pants with high waist

Black ballet socks

Tap shoes

• Female presenting students - Mary Jane style tap shoes with toe and heel taps (buckle or velcro fastening, not lace ups or key hole style)
• Male & non-binary students - Oxford style lace up shoes with toe and heel taps

Grade 3 - Advanced 2 Tap:

ALL STUDENTS

Any black cotton lycra leotard

Black cotton lycra bootleg jazz pants with high waist

Black ballet socks

Tap Shoes - Black Oxford style lace up tap shoes with adjustable tele-tone style toe and heel taps

Hair: Hair should be tied back into a neat ponytail

Warm-Ups:

ALL STUDENTS

Juniors - Any suitable ballet style wrap over cardigan (pale blue or royal blue cardigans may be worn by students who also attend ballet classes, or black if student does not also attend ballet classes) may be worn whilst warming up or in cold weather.

Seniors - Any suitable ballet style black wrap over cardigan or classical style warm up top may be worn whilst warming up or in cold weather.

Warm ups should be close fitting to the body.

Hoodies, tracksuit tops and sweatshirts etc are not allowed to be worn in class.
